January AZPOSH Meeting
The next AZPOSH User Group meeting will take place on Wednesday, January 5th, 2011 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Interface Technical Training in downtown Phoenix. This month we have two group members that will be giving presentations.
Lindsey Stapleton, an IT Systems Engineer, will be presenting some PowerShell scripts used for daily administrative tasks, focusing mainly on Exchange management. We have seen some of the scripts Lindsey has created, including ones with graphical interfaces, and she’s written some really impressive stuff. You definitely don’t want to miss this!
Derek Hanson is a systems engineer with experience in a variety of technologies including Windows Infrastructure, Directory Services, Identity and Access Management and Process Automation. He’ll be taking us through a quick dive into using PowerShell to manage and automate processes in Active Directory. He’ll explain the various methods for accessing and manipulating AD, along with some real-world scenarios and scripts used to resolve them. If you’re responsible for managing AD, you want to make sure you check this out!
As always, we’ll have free sodas and pizza available and we encourage PowerShell users of any skill level to attend. If you plan on attending, please contact us and RSVP for the meeting. We hope to see you there!
