Just a reminder that we’re having our November meeting this Wednesday, 11/6 from 3:30 to 5pm Arizona Time (-7). I misspoke in the last update about our presenter being local; Daniel St. Jean will present remote via Lync. However, since MVP Systems Software is a Microsoft Partner, I have extra things to giveaway at the meeting so make sure you come down to Microsoft’s Tempe office http://www.azposh.com/map/. If you cannot attend in person, you can Join the online meeting.
Either way, you don’t want to miss out on this presentation!! Daniel is going to present information on scheduling and automating with PowerShell. As we all know, it is important to know when and under conditions to run your script in addition to the script itself.
Hope to see everyone tomorrow!
We will be having our November meeting next Wednesday, 11/6 from 3:30 to 5pm Arizona Time (-7). It is a special meeting, because our presenter is local and will be at the Microsoft Tempe office to present in person.
Our presenter is Daniel St. Jean, a Senior Support Engineer at MVP Systems Software and brings more than 15 years of enterprise systems management expertise to the customers he supports. Daniel has extensive knowledge of Windows, Linux, and UNIX and has worked with a wide range of applications like SAP, JDE, Oracle and MS Dynamics.
Since MVP is a Microsoft partner, I was able to get a few extra giveaways, so make sure you come out next Wednesday.
Hope everyone has a great weekend, and I’ll see you next Wednesday!
For those of you not at TechMentor, like our lucky winner Kaia Taylor, we are meeting this Wednesday, October 2nd from 3:30PM to 5PM (Arizona time (-7)). Our presenter is Max Vaughn, a Senior Escalation Engineer at Microsoft.
I will have giveaways for those who can attend in person at the Microsoft office in Tempe – see http://www.azposh.com/map/ for directions.
Look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday!
Don’t miss out on Kirk Evans, Microsoft Principle Premier Field Engineer, presenting on PowerShell and SharePoint administration. This is very exciting for us as we haven’t really focused on SharePoint in the past.
Just like last month, if you bring someone new to the meeting, I will have a special treat for you so make sure you’re inviting all of your SharePoint and PowerShell friends!
See everyone soon!
I would like to first say Happy Memorial Day and thank you to all of our past, present, and future soldiers. We would definitely not be the same without all of them. I really hope everyone enjoyed the three day weekend and short work week!
Next Wednesday, June 5th ( yes, it’s already almost June =O ), we are having a special guest, Kirk Evans. Kirk is a Principle Premier Field Engineer at Microsoft and specializes in SharePoint. He’s going to present on SharePoint and PowerShell. This is our first presentation around SharePoint, and I am super excited. Just like last month, if you bring someone new to the meeting, I will have a special treat for you so make sure you’re inviting all of your SharePoint and PowerShell friends
Can’t wait – see you then!
