June 2nd AZPOSH Meeting Follow Up

Last Wednesday was the third meeting of the Arizona PowerShell (AZPOSH) User Group at Interface Technical Training in downtown Phoenix. There was plenty of free pizza to go around!

We’d like to thank Idera for providing copies of PowerShell Plus as door prizes. We held a drawing and used the Get-Random cmdlet to pick the three lucky winners.

After a quick demo of PowerShell Plus from Idera, Mike Pfeiffer spoke about PowerShell functions. We looked at function fundementals, talked about some best practices and had some good Q and A during the session. You can download the slides and demo scripts here.

If you have not done so already, please sign up and join the group at to receive meeting updates. Next month, we’ll be giving away some free PowerShell books, compliments of O’Reilly Media. We will be posting an agenda with next months speaker(s) soon. Plan on joining us in July for some free pizza and PowerShell goodness!

Be safe,
Knowledge is PowerShell
